"The [ESC] state chapter provides a collaborative forum for the state and ESCOs to jointly plan and host events, develop improved legislation, ensure an effective marketing strategy, and to ensure a consistent and positive message regarding performance contracting. It is also an opportunity to present the industry in a unified way, increase industry credibility and exposure through the alliance with the state energy office and the ESC, and to participate in local events with potential clients." -- Linda Smith, Co-Chair, ESC Colorado State Chapter
