B. N. "Trip" Tripathi As Vice President of Ameresco, Trip Tripathi is responsible for the successful strategic development and implementation of their business plan in the Western U.S. Trip has over 30 years of experience in the engineering & construction industry with the past 18 years focused on performance contracting and energy infrastructure outsourcing in the healthcare, educational and government market sectors. As an engineer, he has applied his considerable expertise to hundreds of design/build projects for a wide range of C&I and institutional applications. As an executive, Trip has, in addition to managing energy service companies, had the responsibility for strategic planning and, expanding, and managing engineering, construction and service organizations. Prior to joining Ameresco, Trip was President and C.E.O. of an ESCO that he established in the UK with subsidiaries in Spain and Germany. Earlier he helped establish and grow CES/Way International, eventually becoming President and CEO in 1998. In addition to serving on the ESC Board for two years Trip is a member of ASHRAE, a member of the Association of Energy Engineers (and the 1999 recipient of AEE’s Energy Services Professional award), a registered Professional Engineer in Texas, and a Certified Energy Manager. Mr. Tripathi received his B.S.M.E. from the Indian Institute of Technology and his M.S.M.E from Clemson University. |
