Bill presently serves on the Energy Services Coalition Board of Directors and is the current the Secretary. He served as co-chairman of the Kentucky chapter from 2007 through 2009. He has been an active chapter member participating in numerous committees since the chapter was formed. The chapter has been successful in creating favorable legislation, defining policy and regulations, and promoting energy efficiency and Performance Contracting. He has supported ESC chapters in all states where he has responsibility. Bill has been an active member of ASHSARE for 30 years and served in a number of positions and committees. He also chaired a national committee on Sustainability.
 
Bill stays actively involved with community outreach programs as well. Participation in a “Middle School Connection” program with the local public schools district; “Job Shadowing” through Junior Achievement;   teaching a business courses through Junior Achievement; and activity through Greater Louisville Inc. are all examples of giving back to the community
 
Past experience in energy services span a 33 year period and include program management of ESPC programs for the Department of Energy, the Army Corps of Engineers 46 state ESPC program for the Department of Defense, working nationally with utility DSM programs, and Performance Contracting business in North America.
 
Bill currently is a Vice President with Ameresco. His responsibility is general management of the South Central regional territory which includes Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Mississippi, and Arkansas.
