Mike Moore
Director of Sales, Energy Solutions Division

Mike has been Director of Sales for the Energy Solutions Division of TAC since January of 2000. Prior to that, he was the Division’s sales manager beginning in September of 1996. During his tenure, Energy Solutions has grown from a $7M division in two states to over $60M, with representation in sixteen states at the end of 2004. Over 95% of his company’s work has been with public sector customers. Mike has served on the NAESCO Board of Directors for six years.

Mike’s career in the energy services industry started in 1979 working as a salesman responsible for selling control systems in commercial buildings based on projected energy cost savings. In 1981, he went to work for Time Energy Systems selling shared-savings contracts and managing a sales team in a nine state region. He then moved into a sales administration role managing the support of twenty-six sales offices. In 1987, he was made Operations Manager responsible for the technical support, savings analysis, billing and reconciliation at Time Energy Systems.

In 1991, he joined CES/Way Engineering and sold performance contracting for them prior to Sempra’s acquisition of CES/Way Engineering. In late 1995, Mike went to work for Control Systems International’s (CSI) Performance Contracting Division. CSI merged with TAC in 2000. TAC was purchased by Schneider Electric in 2002.
