Ms. Amy Butler is the Director of the Bureau of Energy Systems,
for the Department of Energy, Labor, and Economic Growth for the
State of Michigan.
Ms. Butler aligns Michigan's energy sector initiatives, promotes
economic growth, and job creation for the state's transition to the
energy economy.
She directs policy and program development; legislation; and
coordinates agencies and stakeholders including building local
public private partnerships. She has provided program design and
implementation in the areas of energy; climate action; bankruptcy;
oil and gas regulation; brownfield redevelopment; and urban land use
planning and redevelopment.
She currently serves on the Board of the National Association of
State Energy Offices (NASEO) as a Regional Coordinator and co-chair
for the Buildings Committee and Energy Star Task Force.She
has also served on the ANSI-ASQ National Accreditation Board.
